Lexus
is another one of our older does, and will always have
a place in our hearts. I fell for her the first
time I saw her as a kid, and begged Carol Fleck until
she sold her to me. I have never regretted it! Lexus
is a very wide and deep doe. She has a very nicely
attached udder, which has held up well into her later
years. Ideally, her teats could be more plumb. Lexus
is around 18 inches tall. Lex's daughter Flat Rocks
Hummer is an exceptional doe.

Littermate
sister to Champion Design, Calico Rose was extra long
bodied with a wonderful udder. You see it all the time,
but this picture really does not do her justice. She was
in the show ring once, and that time was her last, as
she doesn't enjoy it and she makes sure everyone knows
it. She was, nonetheless, a favorite around here. She
was a gorgeous doe with a great pedigree who exemplified
the functional longevity that we expect from our animals.
We lost Callie in 2008.

Agetha represented
some of our oldest foundation bloodlines. She
was an excellent brood doe, who consistently produced
better than herself. She was very deep, very wide,
and structurally very sound. We would have liked
to see a bit more dairy character and a bit more lateral
attachment to her udder. Her fore udder was smooth
and tightly attached.

Voodoo
is a very dairy, small, classy older doe who came to
us from the HBF herd. At over 10 years
old Voodoo is holding up very well. She's a very long,
deep bodied doe who freshened with tremendous capacity
for her size, and a nicely attached udder. Quite a few
of her daughters by Gem have freshened at other farms
with beautiful mammary systems. We've retained 4 Voodoo
daughters ourselves, and love the strength and longivity
of this line. This doe combines extremely well with
our Surprise lines.

Dinah is another
favorite of ours. She is one of our most dependable
does, as she always produces dynamite kids. Unfortunately
Dinah herself cannot be shown, she is very wild, and
stresses out easily, so it is simply not worth the stress
to her. She combines some of our favorite bloodlines,
that of MCH GW Royal Tern, her sire, and her grandsires,
MCH Goodwood Kauri Tree, and MCH Willows White Light'n
“E”. Dinah is a very correct doe, and excels in
mammary system. Her udder is very tightly and
smoothly attached, with great medial, and very plumb
teats. Her body is very level, and very deep,
but would benefit from a tad more length.

Gin
Fizz has really come into her own! She has tons of capacity,
while maintaining excellent attachments as she ages. Fizz
has a very broad area of attachment, with a perfect fore
udder, and correct sized, very milkable teats with huge
orifices. She also offers great rear udder attachment,
with good medial and lateral attachment as well. She is
a very wide and strong doe, who is also well under the
height standard, being only 19.5 inches tall.

At

belief to have her back. Her dam, Flat Rocks Funny Bone,
had an exceptional udder, and Fortune was her last kid.
Fortune is not a show doe, but a very solid brood doe
who produces better than herself. She has great legs and
feet, good width, depth, and length, but she is loose
in the shoulder. Her udder has tremendous capacity, but
could use higher rear attachment. She has large, milkable
teats, and a nicely extended fore udder.

herd, and her daughters continue to make an impact. Image
was a very long, wide and deep doe, with terrific dairy
character, a wonderful front end assembly, and an exceptional

Keeper was a gorgeous doe. She looked just like Princess,

She was just a really, really sharp angular doe. Her udder
was just socked on, with attachment everywhere, and it
only improved with each freshening right up into her 8th
year. We lost Keeper in 2009, and we miss her greatly.
